DokfestGeneration aims to revive "multigenerational cinema", because the dialogue between old and young can lead out of the impasse of a youth-fixated meritocracy, it can enliven, give courage, create togetherness. Documentary film, as a visual medium for active reflection and listening, is particularly suitable for this purpose. In addition, film makes it possible in a unique way to bring the past to life, to bring memories to mind, to bear witness to the times. This year DokfestGeneration is showing four films on DokfestOnline, including one in cooperation with junges dokfest.
